Agro Ecology
Agro Ecology is a science, a collection of practices and a Social movement. As a science, it studies interactions among diverse elements of the agro ecosystem. As a collection of practices, it seeks property farming systems that optimize and stabilize yields. Agro Ecology pursues multifunctional roles for agriculture, promotes social justice, nurtures identity and culture, and strengthens the economic viability of rural areas. Family farmers hold the tools for practising Agro ecology. They're keepers of the information and knowledge required for this agenda. Therefore, family farmers round the world are the keys components for manufacturing food in an agro ecological method.
