Biography

Graziano Ghinassi born in Talla (Arezzo) in 1961 and graduated in Agricultural Science at University of Florence in 1988. He began research with a doctorate in the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering (DIAF) of University of Florence. Since 1997 he is a researcher at the University of Florence . Is engaged use of irrigation water, both agricultural and residential. He has participated in national and international research groups and has been scientific coordinator of national research projects. IS member associations and academies, as well as Italian representative at the International Commission working groups Irrigation and Drainage (ICID). He is the author of over 40 publications on the use of water in agriculture, the productive response of crops with different irrigation management,irrigation deficit. He is the author of blackberries than 40 papers on agricultural water use, crop yield response to different irrigation managements, irrigation deficit. He authored the ICID manual on the performance evaluation of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems
